#1. Get More Sleep
This one factor is one of the most important ones because sleep deprivation is one of the number one causes of premature aging. Try to get at least 7 hours of sleep each and every night. If you can’t, a nap is always a good, quick fix!
As you get older, your skin starts to sag. This is because its loosing collagen. Collagen loss means lack of moisture, so make sure you invest in a good moisturizer and serum and that you apply them every night and morning religiously.
#3. Eat Well
This one comes as no surprise, but in fact, we are what we eat! Therefore, it’s important that you nourish your skin from the inside out. Eat foods that are high in minerals and vitamins such as fruits and leafy greens, and make sure you get enough Omega-3 fatty acid foods such as eggs and salmon.
Just because you don’t have breakouts anymore, doesn’t mean you should skip your daily cleansing! Purchase an anti-aging cleanser and use it once or twice a day. This not only gets rid of dirt and oil, but also encourages collagen production and gets the blood flowing.
Along with cleansing, exfoliating is also very important. Only to be done once or twice a week, exfoliating gets rid of the dead skin cells that lay on the surface. This reveals smoother and younger looking skin.
It comes as no surprise that exercising has a slew of benefits, including anti-aging, but just make sure you’re exercising the right way! For anti-aging and overall health, we recommend something soothing such as yoga. Yoga relaxes the face and muscles while toning and strengthening.
It’s important to take five minutes out of your day just for yourself…to breathe! Breathing exercises not only calm the mind, but they can also do wonders for your skin as well as your sleep patterns.
